"403: Method Not
Allowed" Errors
This specific error message occurs when you are
attempting to run a CGI script from a directory or an account that does not
have permission from the server to execute CGI scripts. This is not a
script-generated message. If you receive this message, you will need to contact
your host to find out where to place your CGI scripts (if your host allows you
to use CGI scripts). This message can also occur if there is an error in your
hosting account setup that your host's server technicians need to look into. If
you know that your account supports CGI and your cgi-bin returns this error
message, you should contact your host immediately to have the issue
resolved.
